The feast of the day

No feast is kept today

An ordinary day in Christmas Time

Most days of the year keep no feast or memorial — and that is not a gap. The Church simply prays the Mass of the weekday and keeps walking through the season. A good day to carry one quiet intention, and to let prayer be unhurried.

Christmas Time

We are in Christmas Time — the Church wears white.

The Church celebrates the Incarnation: the Word made flesh, and the mystery of divine light breaking into the world. Today keeps no feast — just the ordinary, unhurried rhythm of the week.
