Privacy Policy
Solua (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is operated by Rudolph Musngi. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Section 01
Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Email address — collected when you sign in with Email/Password or when Sign in with Apple shares your email (Apple may provide a relay address).
- Display name — set during onboarding; may come from your Apple ID on first sign-in.
- Prayer preferences — quiz answers captured during onboarding (prayer time preferences, faith focus, experience level).
Information collected automatically
- Usage events — which prayers you open, complete, or save; session start and end times. Events are linked to a randomly-generated analytics ID (not your account ID).
- Device identifiers — your device’s advertising identifier is not collected. We use a random UUID stored in UserDefaults for analytics purposes only.
- Subscription status — whether you have an active Solua Premium subscription and its expiry.
- Crash and performance data — collected automatically by Xcode / Apple infrastructure when you opt in to share diagnostics with developers.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.

We use the following processors to operate Solua. Each processes data only as necessary to provide the service.

Section 04
Data Retention
- Account data — retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request.
- Analytics events — retained for 24 months, then automatically purged.
- Purchase records — retained for 7 years as required for financial record-keeping.

Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure — request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on our legitimate interests.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@solua.app. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Section 06
Children's Privacy
Solua is designed for adult users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact privacy@solua.app and we will delete it promptly.
Household features are intended for family use by adults. Adult household members are responsible for supervising minor participants.
Section 07
Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Supabase enforces row-level security so that users can only access their own data. We regularly review access controls.
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@solua.app immediately.
Section 08
International Transfers
Supabase and PostHog may store and process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards for transfers from the EEA.
Section 09
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via an in-app notice or email. Continued use of Solua after a change constitutes acceptance.
