We are in the Fifth Week of Ordinary Time — the Church wears green.

The long, green stretch between the great seasons — the everyday of faith, where most of the Christian life is actually lived. Today, though, the Church sets that aside and wears white — for the memorial of Cyril Constantine the Philosopher Monk and Methodius Michael of Thessaloniki Bishop.
