History

Witnesses to Faith

Christopher Magallanes was born in 1869 in a small town in Mexico and became a priest in 1899. His ministry was characterized by a deep love for his parishioners and unwavering commitment to God’s Word, even as the Church faced significant adversity.

In 1927, during a period of intense religious persecution, he and his companions were arrested and ultimately executed. They were canonized by Pope John Paul II in 2000, recognizing their martyrdom as a testament to their faith and dedication to God.

The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church.
