Patron Saint of Healers

For health and recovery
O Merciful Infant Jesus! I am aware of the wonders You have performed for those who are ill. How many ailments You healed during Your holy time on earth, and how many of Your faithful followers, through the reverence of Your Miraculous likeness, attribute their healing to You and freedom from severe afflictions. I acknowledge that a sinner like myself deserves these trials and has no claim to requests for favors. However, considering the countless graces and miraculous healings You have granted even the gravest of sinners through the veneration of Your holy infancy, particularly at the revered statue in Prague, I cry out with firm faith: O most compassionate Infant Jesus, filled with mercy, You have the ability to restore my health if You choose! Delay not, O Heavenly Physician, if it is Your desire for me to overcome this illness; stretch forth Your sacred hands, and by Your might, remove all suffering and weakness, so my healing may be credited solely to You and not to earthly remedies. Yet, if in Your unfathomable wisdom You have decided differently, then at least grant my soul perfect health, and bless me with heavenly comfort, that I may endure my afflictions like You, O Jesus, and praise Your providence until my body’s death, when You grant me everlasting life. Amen.
