Patron Saint of Immigrants

A prayer for this intention

For safe passage and hope

O Jesus, who in the early days of Your earthly journey, along with Mary, Your loving Mother, and Saint Joseph, were forced to leave Your homeland and faced the hardships and struggles of exiles in Egypt, look kindly upon our brothers and sisters. Many of them, far from their beloved homeland and those they cherish, often find themselves grappling with the challenges of unfamiliar lives, facing serious threats and temptations to their souls. Guide them on their uncertain paths, provide assistance in their troubles, and be their source of comfort in times of sorrow. Help them to remain steadfast in their faith, virtuous in their conduct, and devoted to their families — their children, spouses, and parents. We implore You, Lord, that we may one day joyfully welcome them back to their homeland and, in eternity, be united with them forever at the foot of Your throne in our heavenly home. Amen.
