In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Facing Persecution St. James faced persecution for his unwavering faith, ultimately becoming the first apostle to be martyred. His bravery in the face of such challenges teaches us to stand firm in our beliefs, even when they are tested. His example reminds us that faith often comes with a cost, yet it is a journey worth taking. O Saint James, steadfast in your faith even unto death, strengthen us to be courageous bearers of the Good News. Help us remain resolute in our beliefs, especially during trials and tribulations. May your martyrdom encourage us to stand firm in our convictions and inspire others through our witness. Give me strength to be steadfast in my faith, especially in difficult times.
