O Most Holy Virgin Mother, we hear with sorrow the lamentations of your Immaculate Heart, pierced by the thorns of human blasphemies and ingratitude that afflict you daily. Our hearts long to love you as our Mother and to foster genuine devotion to your Immaculate Heart. Thus, we kneel before you to express our deep regret for the hurts inflicted upon you and to make amends through our prayers and sacrifices for the offenses that are returned for your love. Please intercede for them and for us, that we might receive forgiveness for our many sins. Speed the conversion of sinners so they may embrace Jesus and cease to wound the Lord, who suffers greatly already. Lift your gaze of compassion upon us, that we might love God with our entire hearts while on earth and enjoy His presence forever in heaven.Amen.
