A Confirmation Prayer

O Holy Spirit of God; take me as Your follower. Direct me, shine Your light upon me, sanctify my being. Restrain my hands, so that I may not commit wrongdoing. Shield my eyes, so that I may no longer behold evil. Purify my heart, to ensure that wickedness has no place within me. You are my Lord, my guide. Whatever You prohibit, I shall forsake. Whatever You instruct, by Your strength, I will accomplish. Please lead me toward the fullness of Your truth.Amen.
