A December Prayer

Jesus, you are the Light that illuminates the world. In moments of fear and uncertainty, let the radiance of Your presence bring me comfort. When loneliness surrounds me, envelop me in the warmth of Your love. As I travel a path that appears shadowed, steer me with the brilliance of Your guidance. When confusion clouds my mind and understanding eludes me, grant me the clarity of Your wisdom. When I feel exhausted like a candle that has burned down, restore me with the vitality of Your life. Then, once filled with Your illuminating light, allow me to be an instrument of Your love, so that together, we may shine brightly for the world.Amen.
