A Morning Prayer

O Master and holy God, who exist beyond our comprehension: by your command, light burst forth from darkness. In your compassion, you granted us repose through a night of peaceful sleep and have awakened us to honor your goodness and bring our petitions before You. In your loving kindness, receive our adoration and thankfulness with all our hearts. Fulfill our requests, provided they lead to our salvation; grant us the grace to show that we are children of light and heirs to your everlasting reward. In the richness of your mercy, O Lord, remember all your faithful; those gathered here in prayer with us; our brothers and sisters on land, at sea, or in the sky, in every corner of your creation, who seek your love for humanity. Pour out your abundant mercy upon all, so that we, saved in both body and spirit, may steadfastly endure; and with unwavering faith, we may praise your glorious and holy Name, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, now and forever.Amen.
