A Parent's Prayer For Their Children

O Father of all creation, who has entrusted me with these children, tasking me to nurture them in Your ways and prepare them for eternal life: grant me Your divine grace, so I may fulfill this sacred responsibility. Guide me in what to provide and what to withhold; teach me when to correct and when to be patient; help me to be both gentle and resolute, attentive and vigilant. Protect me from the weaknesses of excessive leniency as well as harshness. May my words and actions reflect wisdom and true compassion, leading them along the right path, so that eventually, I and my children may together rejoice in the indescribable happiness of our eternal home in heaven, alongside the blessed Angels and Saints.Amen.
