A Prayer Before Surgery

O Jesus Christ, Savior and Master, grant me the grace to accept with joy the surgery that is about to take place, and may it bring the healing and relief I desire. Please enhance the ability and expertise of the surgeon and their team, as I entrust myself to their care for my restoration. I ask You, O Lord, that the procedure proceeds smoothly, and that my recovery is swift and thorough.
