A Prayer For A Happy Death

Lord Jesus Christ, who desires that none should be lost and to whom we can always turn with the assurance of Your compassion; for You declared with Your sacred and blessed words: "All things whatsoever ye shall ask in My name shall be done unto you"; I implore You, O Lord, for the sake of Your holy Name, to grant me at the moment of my passing complete awareness and the ability to express myself, genuine sorrow for my wrongdoings, authentic faith, steadfast hope, and perfect love, so that I may approach You with a pure heart and proclaim: You have redeemed me, O God of truth, who is eternally blessed.
