A Prayer For Healing Post-Abortion

Eternal Father, source of all compassion and love, in Your profound love for us, You sent Your Son, allowing His side to be pierced so that blood and water might flow forth to wash away our sins and restore our lost innocence. Hear the plea of every woman grieving the loss of her child through abortion. Grant her forgiveness, restore her to Your grace, and calm the turmoil in her heart with a peace that surpasses all understanding. Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother and the embodiment of tenderness, bolster her faith in You. Provide her comfort in knowing that her child now lives with You in eternal life. We seek this through Christ our Lord, who triumphed over sin and death, and who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.Amen.
