A Prayer For Might Against Greed

Lord Jesus, You have shown me the beauty of Your creation and have called me to follow Your path. You urged me to let go of my possessions and support those in need, completely surrendering my life to You. The pursuit of wealth breeds greed, leaving a thirst that can never be quenched. The person who desires nothing of this world is liberated from the chains of greed. Strengthen my frail humanity, Jesus, that I may resist the allure of unnecessary luxuries and soothe all inclinations toward greed.
