A Prayer For Power To Overcome Vanity

Lord, vanity is not in accordance with Your way! Through the purity of spirit and purpose, You fulfilled Your Divine mission. While conversing with those around You, You presented Your wisdom in a way that could be understood, guiding each toward the path of salvation and allowing them the freedom to make their own choices. The path You took was devoid of self-importance; I am in awe of Your perfection, my Lord! Jesus, grant me the strength to manage my pride, ensuring it never devolves into vanity. I aspire to reflect Your humility as a child!
