A Prayer For Priests In Their Time Of Uncertainty.

Lord Jesus Christ, as You looked down from the Cross in Your moment of profound suffering upon Your cherished Apostle, St. John, Your sorrow was deepened by the betrayal of Judas and the abandonment of the other Apostles. Yet, in spite of this betrayal, Your love extended to them and to all those consecrated men who might turn away from You. Thus, we earnestly implore You to pour out abundant grace on those shepherds who have lost their way. Where there is confusion, grant clarity; where despair looms, bring forth joy; where battles rage, bestow peace. Guide, O Lord, the wandering shepherds back to Your flock, particularly Father (mention their name(s) here ...), and help them to walk confidently and lovingly in Your presence, for true light, joy, and peace can only be found in unity with You. Inspire all priests in moments of doubt, grant them patience in trials, and strengthen them in frailty, so that, urged by Your love, they may lead others ever closer to You.Amen.
