A Prayer For Self-Sacrifice

O Jesus, gentle and loving Lamb of God, supreme offering among all offerings, Your magnificence echoes in the heavens. While centered on my own needs, You willingly embraced self-denial, relinquishing all Your glory. I am grateful to You, Lord Jesus, for this profound act of love! Your sacrifice has drawn me nearer to You. Help me to imitate this in my own life, to give of myself for the benefit of others, guiding my spirit to practice restraint. Lamb of God, I offer my endless thanks!
