A Prayer For The Forgotten Dead

O compassionate God, have mercy on those souls who lack specific friends or advocates to present their cases before You. Many have been overlooked by the living, either through neglect or the passage of time, and are forgotten by their companions and all. Have mercy, O Lord, and let Your own compassion be remembered when others fail to seek it. Do not allow the souls You have formed to be separated from You, their Creator. May the souls of all the departed faithful, by Your divine mercy, find eternal rest.Amen.
