O Lord Jesus Christ, Sovereign of glory, rescue the souls of all the faithful departed from the torments of hell and the abyss; save them from the jaws of the lion, that hell may not engulf them, that they may not descend into darkness. May the holy archangel Michael guide them into the sacred light which You promised to Abraham and his descendants.
