The prayer
O God, Almighty and Eternal, protector of souls, You lovingly discipline those whom You cherish and graciously refine those whom You welcome. We turn to You, Lord, asking for Your healing touch, so that at the moment of leaving this earthly life, the spirit of Your servant may be presented to You, free from blemish, by the ministry of Your holy Angels.
