A Prayer For The Unborn

Gracious Father, in Your boundless love, shield the innocent lives from the malice of the enemy, those precious little ones to whom You have bestowed the gift of life. Have compassion on the hearts of women who are expecting within our society today and may not yet embrace the calling of motherhood. Open their eyes to recognize that the child they bear is both created in Your likeness and their own, destined for everlasting life. Alleviate their anxieties of self-interest and instill in them genuine maternal hearts that will cherish their children, bringing them into the world and providing the nurturing care that only a mother can offer. We request this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.Amen.
