A Prayer For The Virtue Of Humility

Lord Jesus, during Your time on earth, Your lowliness shadowed Your sovereignty. Your gentle spirit confounded the proud, preventing them from understanding Your divine mission, while Your nobility extended kindness to those in need. Teach me to emulate Your greatness, subordinating my human desires to the virtue of humility. Instill within me a natural tendency to see myself as equal to others. Remove any remnants of arrogance that might lead me to consider myself above You. May my heart continuously reflect Your humility!
