A Prayer For The Wood-Lot

Beloved Lord Jesus, from the moment You were crucified, wood became a symbol of holiness. Each tree stands as a testament to Your immense love for us. Please bless these trees that they may grow tall and robust, reaching their full potential free from harm. Keep them safe from the dreadful strike of lightning. Protect them from the destructive force of fierce winds that could cause damage. Grant them ample nourishment through water, shielding them from pests and decay. May they continually remind us, Lord, of Your magnificent suffering and death. Help us to always remember our identity as Christians, called to follow You, our Savior Jesus Christ, who was crucified. Empower us to embrace our crosses daily in Your footsteps. In doing so, we shall witness the fruits of our efforts and rise to new life with You, for we have chosen to endure suffering alongside You.Amen.
