O Jesus, who has shown us such immense love by granting us the indescribable gift of the Holy Eucharist, ignite within us a fervent passion to glorify You by properly preparing the young ones who will come to Your holy altar for the first time. Guard, O Sacred Heart of Jesus, these precious souls from the dangers of sin, fortify their faith, deepen their love, and bless them with all the virtues necessary to be worthy of receiving You. Amen. Saint John the Baptist, herald of the Messiah, open the hearts of these children to welcome Jesus. Saint Tarcisius, protect those children who are about to receive their first Communion.
