A Prayer For Those Who Live Alone

Lord, I dwell alone in this life. Please remain close to me, guiding me in all that I encounter each day. Bestow upon me good health, which I earnestly seek, to fulfill my responsibilities day by day. Purify my heart, my thoughts, and my actions, enabling me to be generous and compassionate toward those around me. Protect me from fire, floods, slanderous words, thieves, fears, and malevolent influences. Should illness or an accident occur, I sincerely ask You, Lord, to hear my plea. When I am feeling down or overwhelmed with despair, lift my spirit! Support me in my prayers. Though I live alone, dear Lord, I have no fear, for Your presence is always near.
