A Prayer In Veneration Of The Sacred Heart Of Jesus

O Jesus, who during Your sorrowful Passion became known as "the most despised of men, a man of sorrows," I honor Your sacred Face, which once radiated the beauty and grace of the Divine; yet now it seems marred and disfigured! Still, beneath those altered features, I discern Your boundless Love, igniting within me a fervent desire to love You and to lead others to love You as well. The tears that flow so freely from Your holy eyes appear to me as precious pearls, each one I seek to gather, using their immense worth to redeem the souls of lost sinners. O Jesus, whose glorious Face captivates my heart, I beseech You to engrave Your divine image upon my soul and enkindle in me the flame of Your love, that I may be deemed worthy to behold Your radiant Face in heaven.Amen.
