A Prayer Of Thanksgiving After Confession

Eternal Father, I offer my heartfelt thanks and praise to You for Your great goodness and mercy. Despite my foolishness and the distance I created between us by my sins, You showed compassion and welcomed me back with Your fatherly love. After falling into sin time and again, You have granted me forgiveness through the sacred sacrament of penance. May Your loving-kindness and boundless mercy be praised forever, O my God! I promise never to cause You sorrow through ingratitude or disobedience to Your holy will. All that I am, possess, and undertake will be dedicated to serving and glorifying You.Amen.
