A Prayer To End The Coronavirus

Dear Heavenly Father, We thank You for being our good and loving Father. You reign with unmatched power upon Your glorious throne, unmoved by the evil forces that You have vanquished through the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Your beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. We worship You for Your holiness, you who are most worthy, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As we confront this virus together today, help us remember the reassuring words of Jesus witnessed on the night before His crucifixion: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Let not your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid." [John 14:27] Lord, we embrace Your peace, a peace that is beyond worldly conditions. We accept the profound peace of the Prince of Peace. May this peace protect our hearts and reach the hearts of all across the globe, especially those suffering from this virus. We pray that You will invite all people to find rest in You, dear God, for You alone grant us serenity. Please bless our civil and spiritual leaders, and inspire them to make decisions that benefit all. We ask that You take away this affliction, and through it, draw us closer to You, our cherished Lord. In the name of Jesus, we pray.Amen.
