A Prayer To My Lord

Lord, I present to you my thoughts, that they may be centered on you; my words, may they express your truth; my actions, let them show my love for you; my sufferings, may they be borne for your greater glory. I desire to fulfill your will: in the manner you choose, for as long as you wish, because you request it. Illuminate my mind, fortify my will, cleanse my heart, and sanctify me. Assist me in repenting for my past mistakes and in resisting future temptations. Help me to overcome my frailties and to grow stronger in my faith as a Christian.Amen.
