St. Gerard, you who cherished children with deep affection and, through your intercession, healed countless from illness and peril, hear our prayers for our ailing child. We offer gratitude to God for the precious gift of our son/daughter and beseech Him to grant our child a return to health, should His divine will permit. We humbly ask this favor through your loving concern for all children and mothers.Amen.
