A Prayer To Say Before The Holy Mass

Allow me to be a holy offering and join with God in the sacrament of His profound love. I desire to be united with Him in this expression of love, where He grants Himself to me, and I offer myself back to Him as a sacrifice. Enable me to become a sacred gift as I unite with Him in this ultimate act of love. Let me grow closer to Him so that my love for Him may deepen. May I assist in making amends to His cherished Heart and to the heart of His Mother, Mary. With the utmost love, I deliver myself to You and ask that You embrace my sacrifice of profound love. I surrender myself to You and merge with Your self-giving to me. Come and take hold of my soul. Purify me, empower me, and heal me. O Holy Spirit, work within Mary's heart to shape me increasingly into the likeness of Jesus. Father, I present to You this sacrifice of mine, with my being united to Jesus in the Holy Spirit. Help me to love God more richly through this act of my greatest affection. Grant me the grace to enhance my understanding, love, and service to You, making this my most significant involvement in the Mass. Bestow upon me the profound graces to love You wholeheartedly during this Mass, for You are truly deserving of my love.
