A Prayer To The Heart Of Mary

O Heart of Mary, Mother of God and our beloved Mother, you who are most gentle and appealing, the focus of joy for the Holy Trinity, and deserving of all respect and affection from both angels and humankind. You are the Heart that mirrors that of Jesus, the perfect reflection of His love. Overflowing with kindness and compassion for our shortcomings, please soften our hardened hearts, that they may fully turn toward the Heart of our Divine Savior. Fill us with the love of your virtues; ignite us with the holy flame that continually burns within you. Guard the Holy Catholic Church, offering it protection and serving as its consolation, haven, and unyielding stronghold against the attacks of adversaries. Lead us to Jesus and be the means through which we attain the graces essential for our salvation. In our need, may you be our assistance, our comfort during trials, our solace in temptation, our shelter when persecuted, and our support in all threats; especially during our final struggle at death, when the forces of evil will strive fervently to claim our souls in that dreadful moment that seals our eternal fate. At that time, O most compassionate Virgin, may we feel the tenderness of your maternal Heart and the power of your intercession with Jesus, your mighty Son, granting us a safe haven in the very source of mercy, where we may forever rejoice in blessing Him in Heaven.
