A Prayer To The Holy Spirit

I wish to share with you the key to holiness and joy. Set aside five minutes each day to calm your mind and shut out the distractions of the world, allowing yourself to turn inward. In the sacred space of your baptized soul, the dwelling of the Holy Spirit, speak to Him, saying: O Holy Spirit, cherished of my being, I worship You. Illuminate me, guide me, fortify me, comfort me. Reveal to me what I need to do; grant me Your instructions. I commit to obey all Your wishes and embrace everything You allow to occur in my life. May I only discern Your Will. By doing this, your journey will proceed joyfully, peacefully, and filled with comfort, even in times of trial. Grace will match each challenge, providing you with the power to endure it, and you will reach the gates of Heaven, rich in good deeds. This surrender to the Holy Spirit is the path to sanctity.
