A Prayer To The Most Holy Virgin Mother Of Sorrows

Mary, most holy Virgin and Mother of God, martyr of love and grief, for you endured the agony and suffering of Jesus. You united yourself deeply in the great act of my salvation, first through your many sorrows, and then by offering to the Eternal Father His only Son, whom you loved, as a sacrifice and atonement for my transgressions. I mourn with you for the profound pain that you endured. I express my gratitude for that nearly boundless love, through which you gave up the Fruit of your womb, who is both true God and true man, for my sake as a sinner. Let your intercession continually advocate with the Father and the Son on my behalf, that I may sincerely change my sinful habits, and never again cause my beloved Savior to suffer anew. By steadfastly remaining in His grace until my last breath, I hope to receive eternal life through the merits of His sorrowful Passion and His death on the Cross. Three Hail Mary... Let Us Pray. O Lord Jesus Christ, who at the sixth hour of the day, for the salvation of the world, ascended the Cross and shed Your precious Blood for the forgiveness of sins, we humbly ask You to grant us, after our death, a joyful entry into the gates of paradise. We implore You, O Lord Jesus Christ, that now and at the time of our death, the Blessed Mary, ever Virgin, Your Mother, may intercede for us, through whose most sacred soul a sword pierced during Your Passion: through You, Jesus Christ, Savior of the world, who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit, forever and ever.Amen.
