A Teacher's Prayer

Lord, grant me the grace to be an exceptional teacher, to cultivate harmony within my classroom, fostering peaceful relationships with my students. May I approach each one with kindness and a gentle spirit. Help me to embody mercy in my interactions, striking a balance between compassion and discipline tailored to each individual. Allow me to offer sincere encouragement whenever possible and provide constructive feedback in a way that is easily received by my students. May I remain diligent in keeping my lessons engaging, recognizing what inspires each student, embracing their limitations without holding them against them. Teach me to avoid harsh judgments, to treat everyone fairly, and to be a positive example. Above all, Lord, enable me to reflect your love to each of my students.Amen.
