A Thanksgiving Day Prayer

Father, all of creation is indeed deserving of your gratitude and reverence. Your boundless love, justice, and mercy surround us. On this day, we express our thanks for all your gifts: For the suffering and death of your Divine Son, we express our gratitude, Father; through His Cross, He restored the world. For the Church, we give thanks, Father; it serves as our guiding light to salvation. For the martyrs and saints who bear witness to your Son, we thank you, Father; their testimony is our cherished legacy. For our dear ones and friends who have passed on before us, we are grateful, Father; their love remains with us eternally. For our loving spouses, we thank you, Father; together, we aspire to seek you. For the blessing of children, we express our thanks, Father; they are your treasured gifts to us and the world. For our families, beloved ones, and good friends, we offer gratitude, Father; through them, we glimpse the reflection of your Son. For our employment, homes, and all that we possess, we thank you, Father; grant us only what we need as we strive towards Your Kingdom. For the abundance we are about to partake in, we thank you through Christ our Lord.Amen.
