Act Of Adoration To The Sacred Heart Of Jesus

1. The Word was made Flesh and dwelt among us. Eternal Word, made flesh out of love for us, we come humbly before You, bowing in reverence, adoring You with all our hearts and deepest respect. In order to atone for our ingratitude for such a wondrous gift, we sincerely unite our hearts with all who love You, offering our humble and heartfelt thanks. Aware of the great humility, goodness, and sweetness inherent in Your Divine Heart, we ask for the grace to emulate these virtues that please You so dearly. Our Father... Hail Mary... Glory be to the Father... 2. He was crucified also for us, suffered under Pontius Pilate and was buried. Jesus, our admirable Redeemer, we bow at Your feet in humble adoration, giving You our whole mind and deepest respect. Moved by the sorrow we feel for our past insensitivity toward the wrongs and sufferings that Your loving Heart endured for our salvation during Your Passion and death, we unite sincerely with all who love You to express our thanks wholeheartedly. We marvel at the boundless patience and generosity of Your Divine Heart and pray that You fill our hearts with the spirit of Christian mortification, enabling us to embrace our trials courageously and to find our solace and glory in Your cross. Our Father... Hail Mary... Glory be to the Father... 3. Thou hast given them bread from heaven, which abounds with all delights. O Jesus, aflame with love for us, we humbly prostrate ourselves at Your feet, adoring You with our entire being and deepest reverence. To atone for the offenses Your Divine Heart experiences daily in the Blessed Sacrament, we unite in heartfelt sincerity with all who love You, offering our most loving thanks. In Your Divine Heart, we cherish the fervent love You hold for Your Eternal Father and humbly implore You to ignite within us a passionate love for You and our neighbors. Our Father... Hail Mary... Glory be to the Father... Finally, O most lovable Jesus, we implore You, through the sweetness of Your Most Sacred Heart, to convert sinners, comfort the distressed, assist the dying, and relieve the holy souls suffering in purgatory. Bind our hearts together in true peace and charity, protect us from an unexpected death, and grant that we may depart this life in holiness and serenity. Amen. V. Grant, we beseech You, Almighty God, that we who take pride in the Most Sacred Heart of Your beloved Son and remember the great blessings of His charity towards us may rejoice in the good bestowed upon us and experience its effects, through the same Christ our Lord. Amen. O Divine Heart of Jesus, I worship You with all the strength of my soul; I dedicate them to You forever, along with all my thoughts, words, actions, and my entire self. I long to worship, love, and glorify You in a manner reflective of how You adore, love, and glorify Your Eternal Father. Please be my Restorer when I falter, my Protector in life, my refuge and safe haven at the hour of my death. I beg You, through the sighs and affliction You endured for me throughout Your earthly life, to grant me true contrition for my sins, a disdain for worldly matters, a burning yearning for eternal glory, firm confidence in Your infinite merits, and lasting perseverance in Your grace. O Heart of Jesus, all love, I offer You these humble prayers for myself and for all who join in spirit with me in adoring You. In Your infinite goodness, please accept and hear them, especially on behalf of anyone among us who shall first depart from this life. O loving Heart of my Savior, grant him Your internal comfort during his passing; welcome him into Your sacred Wounds; cleanse him of every impurity in this furnace of love, so that he may enter Your glory and become an intercessor before You for all those still in this exile. O Most Holy Heart of my beloved Jesus, I wish to renew and offer You these acts of adoration and prayers every moment I breathe until the end of my days, for myself, a wretched sinner, and for all who partner with me in adoring You. I commend to You, O my Jesus, the holy Catholic Church, Your precious spouse and our true mother; also the souls undergoing Your justice and all poor sinners, the suffering, the dying, and all humankind. Do not let Your Blood, shed for them, be of no effect. Finally, please apply it for the aid of the souls in purgatory, particularly for those who devotedly adored You in life. O most loving Heart of Mary, the purest of all hearts and the most filled with the love of the Heart of Jesus, simultaneously most merciful towards us sinners, obtain for us from our Redeemer the graces we petition through you. Mother of mercy, one glance from you, one movement of Your Heart ardent for that of Jesus, Your divine Son, can entirely console us. Hence, grant us this favor; and then, this divine Heart of Jesus, thanks to the filial love that it bore and will always bear for you, will not fail to hear and respond to our requests.
