Act Of Charity Before Holy Communion

O Most Sweet Savior, Jesus Christ, how immense is Your love that brought You from the heart of the Father to this world of sorrow. You took on our humanity and faced countless sufferings and injustices, even enduring the death upon the Cross, all for us, the wretched sinners, and for our salvation. O how profound is Your love! You could have cast us aside, yet You chose to redeem us: we bore guilt, and You, the sinless One, suffered in our place to liberate us. It was love that led You to assume our flesh; and as You were about to return to the Father, You gifted us this Sacrament as a testament of Your love, enabling You to remain with us in a remarkable way forever, for Your joy lies with humanity. O Lord, how deserving You are of our love, for You do so much for us out of love! Therefore, I will cherish You, O Lord, my Strength, my Refuge, and my Deliverer. O God, You embody true Love! He who abides in love abides in You. I yearn to receive You in this Sacrament, so that I may be more closely united with You in love. Who can separate me from the love of Christ my Savior? O that neither life nor death nor any being might achieve such a divide.Amen.
