Act Of Faith

I profess my belief in one God. I am confident that God rewards the righteous and punishes those who do wrong. I acknowledge that within God there exist three Divine Persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. I affirm that God the Son took on human form, without relinquishing His divine nature. I recognize Him as my Lord and Savior, the Redeemer of humanity, who bore the Cross for the salvation of all, including me. I trust fully in God's authority and accept all He has taught and revealed to us. O my God, grant me a strong faith. O my God, assist me in believing wholeheartedly. O my God, who is all-good and ever-merciful, I genuinely hope for my salvation. Guide me to perform all that is necessary for my redemption. I acknowledge the many sins I have committed throughout my life, yet I now turn away from them and renounce them. I truly regret all my offenses against You, my God, who is all-good, all-perfect, all-holy, all-merciful, and kind, and who died on the Cross for my sake. I love You, O my God, with all my heart. Please pardon me for having wronged You. I vow, O God, with Your aid, that I will never again offend You. My God, please show me Your mercy.
