Act Of Faith

O my God! I hold with certainty that You are the one true God, the Creator and Supreme Being of heaven and earth, infinitely powerful and infinitely loving. I firmly believe that in You, there exists one God in three divine Persons, truly distinct and equal in every aspect: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I believe that God the Son, the second Person of the Holy Trinity, took on human form: He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary; He endured suffering and death on the cross for our redemption; He resurrected on the third day; He ascended into heaven; He will return at the end of time to judge all people; He will grant eternal joy to the righteous, and condemn the wicked to everlasting torment in hell. I accept these truths and all others that the holy Roman Catholic Church presents for our belief, for You, my God, the infallible Truth, have revealed them; and You have instructed us to heed the Church, which is the foundation and support of truth. By Your holy grace, I am determined to live and die in this faith.Amen.
