Act Of Faith

O my God! I wholeheartedly believe that You are the one true God, the Creator and Supreme Lord of heaven and earth, infinitely great and infinitely good. I firmly hold that within You, the one true God, exist three Divine Persons, distinctly separate yet equal in all respects: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. I believe that God the Son, the second Person of the Most Holy Trinity, took on human form; He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born from the Virgin Mary. He endured suffering and died on the cross to redeem us; on the third day, He rose from the dead; He ascended into Heaven; and He will return at the end of time to judge humanity. He will reward the righteous with everlasting happiness and will condemn the wicked to eternal suffering in hell. I accept all these truths and every other doctrine presented for our belief by the Holy Catholic Church, for You, my God, the unerring Truth, have revealed them; and You commanded us "to hear the Church," which is "the Pillar and Ground of Truth." I am determined, with Your holy grace, to live and die in this Faith.Amen.
