Act Of Faith And Adoration Before Holy Communion

My beloved Jesus, I hold a steadfast and vibrant faith that in this sacred sacrament resides Your body and blood, your soul and divinity. I believe that in this consecrated Host, I will receive that same body which came into this world from the most pure Virgin Mary in Bethlehem, which endured immense suffering and torment out of love for me on the road to the Cross and at Calvary, and which rose triumphantly on the third day from the grave. I believe that I shall truly receive God Himself. I worship You, O my God, as my Creator, my Sustainer, my Savior, and my Judge, truly present in the Holy Eucharist. Divine Host, I offer You my adoration together with the angels that fill the sanctuary and surround the tabernacle as they once gathered over the cave of Bethlehem on that Holy Night; I adore You, my God, with the Blessed Virgin, and in communion with all the saints. Lord and Master of all creation, Who has chosen to dwell among humanity, I bow before You with sincere gratitude. O my Jesus, bless this temple in which You reside, but even more the heart that I present to You as a living dwelling place and resting spot. Grant that You may always dwell in it through Your grace and love, and may my sins never drive You away from it! Lord, I possess a strong faith, but please strengthen my faith and inspire it so that it may foster deepened sentiments of worship and love within my soul. O Good Lord, augment my faith so that I may love You more and be more willing in my sacrifices for love of You and for the love of my neighbors.Amen.
