Act Of Humility

O my Redeemer! Who am I that You would call me to partake in Your sacred presence as nourishment for my spirit? Can it truly be that You, the God of boundless holiness, would choose to inhabit my heart, which has long been a dwelling place for Your adversary and a source of great transgression? Lord, if it is Your will, You have the power to purify me. Just speak the word, and my soul shall be restored. I approach You now, O my beloved Saviour, to receive You this morning, though I come burdened with shame and embarrassment over my sins, yet filled with trust in Your grace and the love You have for me.
