Act Of Love

O Lord, everything I am and possess is a gift from You. You have blessed me with my physical and spiritual gifts. You have counted me among Your cherished children and have lavished upon me innumerable graces and blessings. From all eternity, You have thought of me and held me in love. How can I ever express my love for You in return? In Your boundless mercy, You are now entering my soul to unite with me in the closest way. You came into the world out of love for humanity, and now You approach from the altar, drawn by love for me. You come to fill my heart with Your holy love, O Creator, Redeemer, Sanctifier, my God. O Jesus, I desire to reciprocate this love. I wish to love You with every ounce of my soul. I long to belong entirely to You and to dedicate myself solely to You. Jesus, allow me to live for You; grant me the grace to die for You. In life and in death, may I be Yours.
