Act Of Love And Desire Before Holy Communion

O Jesus, may I be able to love You as if I had been at Your feet, feeling Your hand on my forehead, and hearing Your soothing voice declaring forgiveness and offering comfort to those who suffer and face adversity. I long to love You like the poor of Galilee did, like Mary Magdalene, like Saint Peter and the beloved disciple, John, as well as Your holy Mother, who knew You so intimately. Above all, I wish to love You as You have loved me. Grant me the grace to love You fully with every part of my being. May my love be sincere, reflected in my trust, my generosity, and my willingness to make sacrifices. Help me to accept that all that You provide is for my best, asking nothing in return for my service, and joyfully letting go of what I hold dear when it is Your will, for the glory of Your Sacred Heart. Take me, O Lord, and use me as You wish; I give myself completely to You. I dedicate all that I am and have to Your service. I will toil and endure for Your glory, for the salvation of souls, and for my own sanctification. Come, my Jesus, crucified out of love for me. Come, beloved Savior, in the sacrament of love, let Yourself be entirely mine, as I yearn to be wholly Yours. O blessed Virgin, my gentle Mother, who received a miraculous favor from your divine Son at the wedding feast of Cana, see my plight and the help I seek from you; intercede for me with Jesus that He may transform my coldness into fiery love.
