Act Of Reparation Before Holy Communion

O Lord, my God and Savior, who, for our salvation, suffered the insults of those who crucified You, grant Your grace to bear with those who come before You with careless or unworthy Communions, unrecognizing Your presence, and allow all irreverence, rather than withdraw Your sacred presence from our Altars. I mourn these offenses and deeply wish to do all in my power to prevent anything that might still cause You sorrow. I humbly request that You accept this grief and longing as the sole offering I can present in atonement for such great dishonor. O Lord, strengthen my faith and shield me from the slightest disrespect towards this holy Mystery, and ignite in me and all Your people, particularly those who celebrate or assist in its ministry, a profound reverence and devotion, so that Your most holy name may increasingly be honored and glorified in this Sacrament.Amen.
