O Sacred Heart of Jesus, filled with a yearning to amend the offenses constantly directed at You, we humble ourselves before Your throne of mercy, pledging our devotion and loyalty in the name of all humanity! As Your mysteries face derision, our faith in them will only grow stronger, O Sacred Heart of Jesus! When impiety seeks to snuff out our hope for eternity, our trust in Your Heart — the only hope for all mankind — shall increase! As more hearts turn away from Your Divine allure, our love for You will grow deeper, O infinitely lovable Heart of Jesus! In the face of skepticism aimed at Your Divinity, we shall humbly and reverently adore it, O Divine Heart of Jesus! As Your holy laws are trampled upon and disregarded, we shall find joy in upholding them, O most holy Heart of Jesus! When Your Sacraments are disregarded and neglected, we shall approach them with love and respect more often, O most generous Heart of Jesus! As the imitation of Your virtues is overlooked, we will strive ever harder to embody them, O Heart, perfect exemplar of every virtue! As the enemy strives to lead souls to destruction, we will be filled with a fervent desire to rescue them, O Heart of Jesus, passionate Lover of souls! As sin and immorality tarnish the image of God within humanity, we will endeavor through our purity of life to serve as living temples of the Holy Spirit, O Heart of Jesus! As Your Holy Church faces contempt, we shall strive to be her faithful children, O Sweet Heart of Jesus! As Your Vicar on earth endures persecution, we will honor him as the infallible leader of Your Church, demonstrating our fidelity and praying for him, O kingly Heart of Jesus! O Sacred Heart, may Your grace empower us to become Your apostles amidst a world in decay and be counted among Your crown in the heavenly realm.Amen.
