Act Of Spiritual Communion

O Jesus, in the Holy Eucharist, You have granted us Your Body and Blood as our spiritual sustenance, a means by which we may attain eternal life. I wish I could approach the Holy Table now to be united with You in the Blessed Sacrament! With all my heart, I long to receive this living Bread that descended from Heaven. O Lord, I am unworthy for You to come beneath my roof; just say the word, and my soul will be healed. O Lord, I am unworthy for You to come beneath my roof; just say the word, and my soul will be healed. O Lord, I am unworthy for You to come beneath my roof; just say the word, and my soul will be healed. Allow me to at least experience the sweetness of spiritual Communion. Come to me, Jesus, my Lord and Master. Refresh my soul, and strengthen me so that in unity with You, I may perfectly fulfill the will of the Heavenly Father. May I never be separated from You by sin. Keep me in Your love and grace. I will not be tempted away from You by the fleeting honors and pleasures of this world. I love You above everything and with my whole being. "You are the God of my heart, and my portion forever." Increase my faith, fortify my hope, ignite my love, so that I may die to self and live solely for You.
